Warren Mallard established Lyonswood Investigations and Forensic Group 33 years ago when it was known as Lyonswood NSW Pty Limited. Since then, Lyonswood has remained in Drummoyne and has grown to be one of Australia's largest and most respected general investigations Company. Warren is a former NSW police officer with eleven years experience; retired on medical grounds resultant out of being seriously injured in the execution of his duty.
His passion and love of investigation however, soon lead him back to this profession, albeit in a commercial sense. He has strived for achievement and over the past 29 years, has held the position of President of three National Investigation industry representative bodies. He has also held the positions of Area Governor Australia for the World Investigators Network and Director of the World Association Of Detectives. He is an author of the T.A.F.E. (Technical And Further Education) course, a certificate in which is a prerequisite for the issue of a Private Inquiry Agents License in the state of NSW. He holds the highest level in investigation qualifications through the Canberra Institute Of Technology, Certificate (iv) Investigation Services and has been chosen by his piers not just to represent the industry as President, but as appointed Industry Liaison Officer to the Commissioner Of Police. He has 44 years of combined investigative experience.
Warren Mallard and his company Lyonswood Investigations and Forensic Group have taken the profession of Private Investigation from the sometimes perceived world of sleazy disgraced former police officers who break laws to obtain results, (that which was created by novelists and film makers) to the present day reality of a competent industry of government licensed law enforcement professionals. He has made this transition through his success in his Investigation Business and by presenting the profession of investigation and the benefits that flow from it, through advertising to the community and through his appearances in the media. Government heads and departments regularly consult him in respect of legislative changes and matters that effect security and investigation.
He is passionate about his profession and strives towards the pursuit of excellence in investigation and is selfless in his assistance to those who wish to make use of the services the industry offers and to those wishing to join that profession.
